Posting photos on the blog?

Thanks for the help with the name of the blog.

I want to start putting some photos up on the blog along with comments. Blogger recomends using Flickr, which will probably be ok. But is it necessary to use Flickr or is there some other way? If I have to compose some html stuff, I'd just as soon use Flickr.

Any comments?

I notice that any postings made here come to me as email. That's ok for now but later I might want to eliminate this feature. I presume this can be done via Settings.

I have a site named http://www.thelittlegreenie.com where I have some info about a dvd I made. I've also put up some comments about other subjects on that site. If you go there, I'd like to know about it and get your reaction.

I use flickr on my site and I think that it works quite well. It allows you to store some pretty large pictures although it does have a monthly upload limit of 10 mb. You could also try bloggerbot from www.hello.com Both bloggerbot and flickr can post directly to your blog, however I always compose the html myself. If you want you can check out my site http://jasonmaher.blogspot.com The first 5 images are hosted by flickr and the rest with bloggerbot.

Jason--

If you come back here, note that I read your post and made a comment on your site.

Thanks for the comments you left on my site. I don't think flickr allows you to upload video, I've never seen anything that would allow you to do that on the site. I can't really help here as I've never uploaded any video clips to my site. Good luck, I hope you find something that works out for you.
